This is Simplir's high-power workhorse server blade. The base
ASB is a communications grade, e-mail server appliance. It features spam
and virus filtering. Provision services that you need... on the fly. Don't
spend on services that you don't need. For in house web serving or hosting,
activate full-featured web server and FTP server modules.
An embedded operating system runs from solid state memory
and serves data from a Simplir shared disk storage solution. The ASB is
easily and simply managed using the Simplir Integrated Interface through
the CSB (Control Server Blade), it can serve it's own encrypted, graphical
user interface for stand alone operation. The ASB works equally as well
in either of Simplir's Blade CORE environments.
