Control Server Blade Simplir Integrated Interface

CSB is a high reliability communications grade Motorola embedded server appliance blade.

CSB serves the Simplir Integrated Interface to provide simple unified management of large scale networks.

Customer Relationship Management database, customer provisioning, and IP address management are just a few of the "service provider" oriented features.

The Simplir Integrated Interface Java client is fully cross platform and runs on Windows, Macintosh, and Linux workstations. This client is served by the CSB remotely from anywhere on the Internet and is fully encrypted. Unlike "web interfaces" the SII is dynamic, providing information in real-time.

The Integrated Interface brings all aspects of Data Center and ISP customer relationship management together into a single application.

A fully tiered administrator hierarchy separates users into groups like "executive" "administrators" and "data entry" each with reduced privileges

The addition of a Control Server Blade to your network provides integrated, unified management for every Simplir Appliance.

Alarm Server Package (ALP)
  • The Alarm Server Package monitors Blades and COREs for network connectivity, performance and continuing operation of critical services such as SMTP, POP, WWW, DNS.
  • ALP also monitors clients or customers, wireless tower sites and/or remote offices for network connectivity and performance. This works well for connections requiring Service Level Agreements.
  • Power systems and telemetry sensor module events are monitored and logged. A true telco style converged alarm architecture is available and integrates into Simplir networks. It's easy to use, and gives the operator useful, real-time information
